“If wedding season is starting and you’re on the hunt for a good DJ, don’t waste your time at bridal shows and events looking at overpriced and over rated entertainment groups. Ryan (DJ Tabs) is the absolute best, in every possible way. Ryan came recommended to us from our photographer (Wandering Eye, also awesome if you’re still looking!).

From the first time we emailed Ryan, his interactions and suggestions seemed genuine and sincere. We were looking for a confident and experienced DJ who could play the right music at the right time. We worked together to create an organized play list of what we liked and he was able to feed off our style instantly. I must say he was even more organized than us in getting music for specific moments (ie. cake cutting, entrance music, parent dances) as we became more disorganized as the big day approached. We even wanted some Ukrainian folk flare that he happily incorporated at the best opportune times.

We married in July at UofT’s Hart House with the intent to keep the party indoors (in the Great Hall). We had beautiful weather, so much so, the heat didn’t want to leave and the century old building did not come with air condition. As soon as we finished our dinner and noticed our guests fanning themselves off, we asked Ryan if we could relocate the party to the terrace outside. Without a bat of the eye he said “just give me 20 minutes”. It’s safe to say Ryan saved the night and was a huge part in making it the best party of our lives. He had a constant crowd of people burning up the dance floor and to me, that is what’s most memorable about a great wedding, and an exceptional DJ. Thanks Ryan!” Naomi & Damian
